Who is Beans?!
"Beans was surrendered to Suncoast Animal League by a breeder in April 2023 at just 4 months old. He was having difficulty walking, holding his head up and had overall balance issues. Little did we know the extent of his genetic issues.
After repeated exams by specialists, X-rays and blood work, Beans was determined to have an abundance of issues that will hinder his quality of life in the future. This little sweetheart is surviving with scoliosis, spinabifida, hydrocephalus, rotary nystagmus, dwarfism, shallow to no hip sockets, neuro and mobility issues. But if you ask me and you ask Beans, he’s perfection. He knows no different and wakes up each day thinking that it’s the best day ever… and he’s not wrong.
Because we know his life will be cut short due to the physical and neurological issues he faces each day, we have decided to create a bucket list of adventures, snacks and fun so he doesn’t miss out on anything!
One of his very special bucket list items was to have his own Pup Active t-shirt to help raise funds for his friends at Suncoast Animal League. Beans wants to keep paying it forward like his big sister Denali & big brother Hugo to say thank you to his shelter friends for saving his life and for continuing to help the pups & kitties that need specialized care just like he does."
