Compassion is a catalyst for change.

In animal welfare, change is how we save lives. We are our most effective selves when we speak up, offer education and lead by example.

Animal advocacy implores us to see rescue, foster, adoption and training in terms of compassion.

Compassion is not simply choosing to adopt rather than purchase. Compassion is teaching and training our animals based in positive reinforcement with a commitment to force and fear free practices.

Compassion is offering help to pet owners who are struggling instead of passing judgement. Compassion is knowing the difference between what we want and what an animal is asking for.
