Resting Beans Face - FUNDRAISER!

With the differences in Beans body on the outside, you can imagine there are also differences on the inside too.  His “gastrointestinal motility” is delayed, which is a fancy way of saying his food has a hard time moving through his intestines.  This delay created a backup that became a blockage and required immediate emergency surgery.

The surgery itself went well, we celebrated, and Beans was initially discharged.  However, once home, Karey realized something wasn’t quite right and in less than 24 hours, rushed him back to the Blue Pearl ER.  His gastrointestinal motility was now more than a delay, it had almost completely stopped.  The Critical Care team had to figure out how to “jump start” Beanie’s little body.  He spent 6 days in the Critical Care ICU because his little body refused to cooperate after surgery and the hospital bills compounded. It took a bit of maneuvering; several IV meds, fluids, nasal tubes, scans, an overwhelming fighting spirit from our sweet boy & finally success.

In honor of Beans surviving and showing us what a fighting spirit can do, we've brought back the RESTING BEANS FACE merch!

All profits from this collection will be donated directly to Bean's life saving medical costs.

We love you, BEANS!
